What does the home theater system with HD TV and a surround sound system have that the movie theater does not have? In two words volume control.
I know someone that went to the movie theater the other night, it was a brand new theater with the latest seating and clear picture, and did they enjoy it? No, they didn’t and the reason they did not have a good time is because the sound was so loud that they could not even concentrate on the movie.
They even got up and moved to a different seat further away and of course this did nothing for the sound so in the end they finally got up and left in the middle of the movie because they could not take it any longer.
When you have your DirecTV with the HD receiver and movie packages this is not a problem you can adjust the volume. What is even better when it is game day with the NFL Sunday Ticket you can crank that volume up and join the crowd rooting fro your team.
There is no theater that is going to have the NFL Sunday Ticket and when you have Direct tv programming in HD is almost like being at every game because you know you can count on it being a crystal clear picture.

It has been estimated that there are approximately 30 million homes in the United States that now own a high definition television and to go with that clear picture during any programming most owners have a satellite TV provider or a cable TV provider.
With each one of these providers there are packages that can be chosen and with satellite TV there are some packages that might not be found on cable TV, but each have programs that should not be missed.
The Movies will look completely different than they would on any other television and make it like being at the theater. Then there are the sports packages that sports fans will find completely magnetic because all the action is right there close up and more clear than it would be seen in person. Any program will come to life on a high definition television and favorite programs will have an entrancing lure to them.
There are the evening shows that come on after the late evening news with all the stars that now can be seen the way they really appear and not the way people are used to seeing them on a standard television that does not have the lines of resolution that gives the crisp clear picture that is seen on HDTV.
Having an HDTV along with a satellite TV provider or a cable TV provider not only will completely change the way you view television but it will ruin you for watching programming on any other type of television.

It seems there may be a big change coming with the Hollywood movie companies that will make TV viewing a lot more exciting and thrill the moviegoer. In recent news some of the big movie companies like Warner Bros., Twentieth Century Fox and Walt Disney Co. are looking into different ways of getting their new releases to the viewers faster.
This faster way of delivering their movies to the people includes making them available on cable TV and Satellite TV providers and also as downloads on the Internet in some cases this will be before the movies are available on DVD. Twentieth Century Fox is considering the release of some movies on pay preview on cable TV and satellite TV providers and online the same day that it is released on DVD in the stores.
While this is exciting and the movie companies are working this all out one of the things that they have decided before this is even off the ground is that the movies will be sent in a way that they will not be able to be copied.
This will make movie night a whole new game, the same movies that are in the theaters on the TV if you are a cable TV or Satellite TV provider. No more going out and buying the high priced tickets, no more high priced snacks, instead you will be sitting in the comfort of home watching the newest movies out.
Sounds great, however there is no set date when this will begin as the studios are still working on the details according to reports.

Recently there have been some consumer electronics statistics released and it shows that as high as sixty percent of sports fans own a high definition television.
That equals a lot of fans and then there are the games they watch and a true sports fan who has an HDTV setup is not going to wait for a game to come on the local channels, they are the fans that will also be subscribers of special sports packages with either a satellite TV provider or a cable TV provider to get all the games, the team information, the real time stats and all the other sports programs.
With statistics like this there must be a reason why they choose high definition, some of the reasons are the crystal clear picture that comes from the at least 720 lines of vertical resolution. Compared with a standard television that has 480 vertical lines of resolution makes a big difference when watching the game, it makes it almost like being there.

Manufactures of HDTV’s as well as satellite TV providers and cable providers are looking for ways to say choose me.
There are some new thoughts by manufactures on the high definition that some of the prototypes that have become thinner, much thinner up to 1.5 inches from one manufacture while another popular manufacturer has shown one at electronics shows that is three eights of one inch.
While the battle seems to be on for the thinnest television on the market there are also other technology advancements in the amount of frames per second that will also make the picture more clear.
Satellite TV providers mean time are also racing to have the most high definition programs on their channels, this is something that cable TV providers are beginning to add more of also.
Between the manufactures having their race to see who is best and the satellite TV providers doing the same it will make for an interesting time for television viewers, with cable TV providers not far behind.

Any sports fan with an HDTV knows just what their set is capable of, but with the right hook up such as satellite TV or cable TV with the additions sports packages a sports fan can literally see hundreds of games a year.
Just with a satellite TV provider and a sports package like MLB Extra Innings, there are up to 80 games a week. That adds up to a lot of games per season for any sports fan and watching it on HDTV means seeing the game up close and having a better seat than in the stands where if the action is not right in front of your seat you might miss the play.
Add to that the receivers that are available with satellite TV that allow the sports fan to have four games at one time on the screen and access to real time stats and highlights of the games.
With HDTV and the sports packages that satellite TV and cable TV providers offer makes it even better when the sports fan can not be there live because of the crystal clear programming and the interactive receivers.

Everyone shopping for a new television will see the many HDTV’s that the store they are shopping in has to offer so they can watch what the new Direct TV Deals gave them, but what can a viewer expect from this type of television.
First with a high definition television there are more lines of resolution which equals a clearer picture, so clear in fact that some of the Hollywood stars that have looked flawless do not appear so flawless now. The viewer can expect not only a clear picture, but also programming so real and up close it is like being a part of it.
One of the great things that a viewer can expect is to save money, while the initial expense might be more in the long run many viewers save money because with a satellite TV provider and the movie channels instead of going out to the movies most do not want to leave the big screen at home. Even movies that have been seen prior look different with the crystal clear view.
There is also a large plus with an HDTV and satellite Tv or cable Tv providers programs can be saved or recorded for later viewing with out all the fuss of a VCR.
